Bless You!

Ryan has a cold or sinus thing right now. She alternates between being stuffy and drippy (though she whines equally for both). This morning, she was reading on the way to school when a HUGE sneeze just flew out of her.

Me: Good heavens! Bless you!
Ry: Oh man!
Me: What?
Ry: Ewwww. Now I've got a bunch of choo on my book.
Me (after I stopped laughing at the 'choo' comment): Ummm... that's MY book.
Ry: Oh. Sorry.

I hate cold season.

Makes me think of that guy in Electra's and your class in high school.

Jon was complaining about something similar the other day. Seems Nate tends to sneeze (usually with a mouthful of food) all over Jon's PSP. I didn't believe it until Jon showed it to me and there was 'stuff' all over the screen. I guess that explained why Jon doesn't use it anymore!!

Aaaaggghhh! I've had that happen to my computer screen when a sneeze unexpectedly hits... it's disgusting. Since I'm not 9, though, I tend to clean it. I don't blame Jon for passing on the PSP now. Tell him it did make me laugh, though!

LOL...thank goodness it was your book and not mine. 'Choo'...I'm gonna have to use that.

Now there's choo on YOUR book! I'm going to totally use that word now, so you can thank Ryan.

I hate cold season too, just had a cold myself. Ryan takes after you with her love for words and "new words", I take it.:)
Hope you have a nice trip today, and I hope Ryan gets well soon.:)))

My sneezes sound like coughs, so no one knows if they should say "bless you." They invariably do it, several moments later, when it is uncomfortable for both of us.

Choo is a very apt description. I like it. And ummm is there ever a NOT cold season? I'm still waiting for that one!

I thought of choo as in 'choo choo' a childs name for a train....wait....do you suppose that's where the word came from? A train of...oh nevermind, that's disgusting!
