Outside? What's This 'Outside' of Which You Speak?

Well, it's the weekend (I'm the Queen of Obvious, remember?), so I'm leaving all you lovely bloggy people 'til tomorrow night...

Someone suggested this to me the other day...Now, the person who issued the suggestion/statement wasn't a bloggy person, so I don't know whether or not they were right (can you even trust non-bloggy people?)... but I'm game to find out. Plus, I actually have plans for the weekend that don't include typing! I'm taking Ryan hiking tomorrow and the Republican is cooking dinner for me tonight. And yeah, I know... these non-dates are sounding a lot like actual dates, aren't they? I swear, they're not. And even if they were, it just wouldn't work... for lots of reasons. As nice as he is, he's just wrong about so many things ;). Plus, he's deploying to Iraq in a few months (he's a forensic photographer and has to go take pictures of really horrible, awful, ugly things for a year). And I refuse to get attached to someone who going off to war. OK, that sounded a bit dramatic... and it's not exactly true... but still... you know what I mean. So it's still a non-date in my book. So there. Pffffttt.

Anyway, enjoy your weekend lovely bloggy people, wherever you may be and whatever you may be doing! Speak soon... XOXO

And PS... thanks so much to everyone who went over to Sherri's yesterday to wish the scrumptious Big Al a happy birthday! I didn't mean to sound like a dictator, I swear! I was just using my 'mom voice'. Hello! Why do you think my kid is so well behaved?! She's not respectful... she's askeerd (Pigsknucklian for 'afraid') of me! Anyway, you guys are the BEST bloggy friends ever and I know Sherri and Big Al both appreciated your thoughtfulness!

When a Republican cooks dinner, does that mean they shoot dinner first? Or is that my British steriotypical views of Americans getting the better of me?

Anyway, enjoy your day.

You can't really trust any non-bloggy I'm afraid. You can trust us though.

Have the world's best weekend! BTW, I've been really good about leaving alone the topic of your non-dates with the republican. I should really get a medal for it because I'm showing epic restraint. Just sayin'. Have a great dinner - and a great hike.
BTW again, just checking out that picture in your sidebar of you and Ryan. Is she really tall, or are you kinda short?

having received "un petit coup de soleil" (sunburn) myself yesterday when walking at the park, I heartily support your endeavors to get away from the computer! My niece's first word, (fter "mama" and "no" of course) was "out side" (2 separated words actually) from hearing them tell the dog to get outside all the time..... My first word was either cookie or doggie...it wasn't really clear....

Diane and Republican/ Sitting in a tree/Having platonic tea/First comes denials/Then comes deployment/ Then comes ....

What a horrible horrible job. Ick. But one I think a Republican should do since a Republican caused the mess over there anyway. Hope he stays safe over there.

Enjoy this --- o . u. t. s. i. d. e. -- of which you speak. And never trust a non-blogger.

Reminds me of a Peanuts cartoon - Linus is in a beanbag watching TV when the TV announcer tells him that it is a nice day outside.

Diane, I hope you are having/have had a wonderful weekend with Ryan and the Republican.
As for the romance department; don't be afraid to embrace the impossible.;)) Usually that is what turns out to be the best there is.

Have fun out there in the big wide world that does not involve a computer, a Twitter, or a Facebook.

I'll be thinking of you as I continually update my online status.

No really. Have a good time.

Dude. Outside is so over-rated. If I still had the opportunity to go to the beach in the middle of February I SO TOTALLY WOULD. But...God hates me and is punishing me with 20 degree weather. Ef that man, I'm staying in. Hope you had a good weekend. And by the way, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY. Remember how I wrote it down and still forgot to send anything? Yea. I'm so awesome like that. Blerg.
