I Can, Can't, Will, Won't, Should, Shouldn't...

I found this cool prompt while wandering around Blogland and thought I'd give it a go...

I can

… spit through my two front teeth.

… hula hoop.

… put up a tent in 10 minutes flat.

… rip up wall-to-wall carpet all by myself.

… recite the 50 states in alphabetical order.

I can’t

… pee outside.

… sleep with any part of me hanging off the bed.

… dance.

… go to bed in a hotel without checking under the bed first.

… watch horror movies.

I will

… be ready for the Breast Cancer Walk in October.

… travel to all the places I want to go.

… forever wear my heart on my sleeve.

… spill spaghetti sauce on myself every time I eat it.

… fall in love again.

I won’t

… ever stop missing my dad.

… beat myself up (as much) for my shortcomings.

… shop at WalMart.

… give up red wine, even for Weight Watchers.

… own an automatic car (until I’m very old).

I should

… save more money.

… learn to cook.

… stop procrastinating.

… do laundry more often.

… stop buying new books until I’ve read every one on my bookshelf.

I shouldn’t

… slouch.

… say mean things about my boss. Or my mother. Or my brother.

… even consider online dating again (but I probably will).

… wish for harm to befall Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and Glen Beck.

… ever use the word ‘befall’ again.

I keep meaning to ask you about the Wal-Mart thing. You mentioned that it was an evil empire once and I forgot to follow up.

And I can totally spit through my two front teeth, but I'm getting braces tomorrow to correct that problem. :)

Also, I really love that you wear your heart on your sleeve, so I'm glad you're going to keep doing that.

That spaghetti sauce habit of yours though? You should totally give that up. That's gross.

I absolutely WON'T shop at Walmart, either! And I SOOOO wear my heart on my sleeve!

And I should totally stop buying new books until I've read all the ones on my shelf, but I know I won't.

I love this exercise, but mostly I love you!

Great post! I might steal it, but I might end up sounding too much like you!

With you about spaghetti sauce, and give up red wine I hope not.

Spaghetti sauce, eh? I spill the odd drop of pinot noir but I have an excuse.

yeah, I look good in what I eat, too.

maybe instead of wishing for harm to befall Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and Glen Beck you could just spit at them through your two front teeth...

And what - may I ask - is wrong with "befall"????

Ooooh, good prompt :)

And if you lived in Andalusia, you'd have no choice but to shop at Walmart. It's a sad, sad fact.

I can't believe you can put up a tent in 10 minutes! I would need a couple of days. But I have peed outside. It really wasn't as bad as I thought.
Write a post about Wal-Mart- I'd like to hear your rant, I mean, views!

Because I'm just too nice to wish actual physical harm on them...as long as it is permanent laryngitis and the total inability to join any kind of public discourse, I'm right there with you. And, can you add Ann Coulter to that list too? And, Bill O'Reilly too. Good gosh, I could go on and on.

I know that I wouldn't feel too bad because the death of Robert Novak earlier this week didn't rate so much as a blip on my empathy meter. Tool.

And just so this isn't entirely negative, I may borrow this to get back into blogland since we're slowing down again because it's a good prompt.

I wish I had your Wlmrt restraint. Sometimes my laziness or cheapness makes me cave and I'm usually sorry.
