Perfect...
Sounds like a pretty perfect life to me... and pretty simple, too (yeah, I know... things aren't always what they seem, are they?). So, what's your perfect life? Are you living it?
That's pretty close to my life, except I do some work at home (writing & phd) and leave the house for other reasons ;) In a perfect world I'd do more cooking, and would be able to pay someone to clean my house....
No I am not. My perfect life would be travelling the open highway (on my motercycle) with my camera equipment and my laptop; writing about the places I've been, the people I've met and the things I've seen and done. I was born to ramble, it's how I roll.
The job I love and the coming home to people I love it totally my life. I live for weekends so I can overdose on my family but dream of going back to work on Sunday night. I am waiting for the travel part until we are done paying for college for the kiddies but Nate and I started so early we'll be done earlier than our friends (glass half full way of looking at the matter)!!
nope. that pretty much sums things up perfectly. and those are the kinds of people i want to be around, work with, spend time with, live with, and love with.
Wonderful quote... What is a perfect life; often it is the life we actually do live, even though we always strive for something better or different. The truly happy are those who relish in every simple moment, in the good and the bad. As your little girl wrote; beauty is in the miracle of life. Of life itself. xoxo

She's laid it out pretty well.
Am I living it? No, but I damn sure am working on it!
Yep, pretty much. My travel souvenires are in the form of finisher medals and race memorabilia!
What great words to live by.
I think what I have right now is pretty good. I'm getting there anyway

Close enough, I guess. I don't exactly love my job, but I don't exactly hate it either.
I suppose the biggest thing I gotta work on is the inner-peace thing. And that? Can be a real bitch.
I'm doing the dreaming part, which I have faith will turn into my reality, with enough hard work and patience. Thanks for sharing!!
You could have written that, it's so you!
That's it. . . without the job part. . . in my perfect life I would be writing, not working. . .

I'm not there yet, but I'm loving the journey!
I'm working on it. My goals are pretty much the same, except I want the ocean nearby, too. And a few flowers in the yard.
Almost, still working on my dream and that is the best part, the journey, I will know when I am there. ♡

Aaah, I love that.
It is a wonderful, simple aspiration. :) If only we could get there.
