Ryan wrote something for this thing at school - an artsy sort of contest, which accepts entries in the categories of drawing, photography, writing, etc. The subject this year is, 'Beauty Is...'
So, here's what my beautiful 10-year-old came up with...
_______________________________
Beauty Is...
Beauty is... the little things about us that make us smile.
Beauty is... the different colors of the people around us.
Beauty is... the memories we all share.
Beauty is... the pets we all love.
Beauty is... the miracle of life.
Beauty is... the first flower of spring.
Beauty is... the fireflies on a summer night.
Beauty is... the fall leaves blowing in the wind.
Beauty is... the mountains in the winter.
Beauty is... the world.
Beauty is.

Beauty is... Ryan and you Diane, you have taught her to see the beauty that is all around us. xoxo ♡
and a chip off the old block!
Ryan is such a super kid... and all because of you.
I love it! What an eloquent young lady she is. Gee... wonder where she gets it from...
pretty.
looks like she'll be giving mom a run for her money in writing as well as all the other usual things.
Pretty special words here. Love them.
I'm not surprised. She writes just like her mama does.
Beautifully.
xo
Well done! You might stash that away some where in a family book for her to read again years from now. Memories........good stuff!
I miss the beauty of fireflies, how their light stays on as they drift to the ground after being swatted by a Wiffleball bat.
Seems pretty well balanced.
Got that from her dad, did she?
Sorry. It's Halloween. The devil made me do it. Promise.
She is as talented and profound as her mom.;) She is a great kid Diane.;)
xoxo
Beauty is ... seeing your child blossom into a beautiful and sensitive person before your loving eyes.
Way to go Ryan!
I see a bright future for this one.
