45/45 Challenge... Kick Off!!

So, tomorrow is the 15th (my birthday!) and my 45/45 Challenge kicks off, my bloggy loves! I'm excited! For those of you who have just tuned in, I've decided to celebrate turning (and being) 45 by accomplishing a long list of challenges, some of which are on my 'bucket list', some of which simply need doing, and some of which I just want to see if I can do! I've updated my list since I first posted about it last month... you can read that post here, if you'd like... it explains why I want to take on this whole crazy task and where I got the idea (and by 'got', I totally mean 'stole'!).

You know I'll keep you posted as the year progresses. There are quite a few things on my list that are one-offs, but there are even more, I think, that I'll have to keep up with on a daily or monthly basis, so there should be plenty to write about (which is good, as I've had nothin' lately!).

Wish me luck!!

Holy Crap! I'm exhausted just reading that list. Happy Birthday and best of luck with that. My 40's were the best decade of my life. And since 60 is the new 40, I'm now doing them all over again! Glad I discovered your blog. I'll be back.

Happy Birthday.

I was exhausted after reading your list. But you are much younger and in better shape than I, so I'm sure you will meet your goals.

Okay, I STILL love your list - and sorry I am a few days late and missed your BIRTHDAY! Hope it was super duper extra wonderful! You deserve it!!

Okay, I am going to offer to help with one of your you want to go to Zumba with me on Monday night as my guest...have tons of fre guest passes for the gym so it would cost you nothing. Then if you like it and come on a regular basis then you can say you know how to salso dance, too. Two birds with one stone!

Also, Remember that Liz, from book club, wants to help you with the baking of the bread...from home ground wheat! Need ideas for new recipes I can help you...just an e-mail away!
And I don;t know if I told you but my favorite of your challenges is your 365 things you will get rid of or donate. Just know if you go into Ryan's room and sort through her books and need a venue for cleansing then donate them to my class. I have been able to motivate my students to do all sorts of things for the reward of free books from Abigail's overabundance.

Oh, and I better be invited to the girls night out and camping trips! Yeah!(-:

Now I had to go all the way to #10 before I found a goal that I thought I MIGHT be able to accomplish. And then I had to go all the way down to #39 and that's only do-able because someone else already planned it.

Happy 45 !!
